Casino Entertainment Industries – FantaSea Yachts Vendor Spotlight of the Week

Who needs to go to Vegas when you can bring Vegas to you?

FantaSea Yacht’s vendor spotlight of the week is Casino Entertainment Industries, the premiere casino company we work with. CEI provides knowledgeable and professional gaming dealers, high quality tables and…we can’t forget… the casino chips and play money!

In 1996 Casino Entertainment Industries started their business out of their home and has since grown into one of Southern California’s largest casino companies. CEI now has more than 2,000 square feet of warehouse space, over 150 casino tables and 200 experienced game dealers. From black jack to poker to roulette to craps – there’s not a game they don’t have.

For more than 10 years Casino Entertainment has worked with FantaSea Yachts and has contributed to the success of hundreds of celebrations. Just this past December CEI was hired for several of our corporate holiday parties, in all of our venues Dandeana, RegentSea, FantaSea One and our land-based waterfront Yacht Club.

Whether you’re planning a corporate event, birthday party, bar/bat mitzvah, fundraiser, college sorority/fraternity event, Casino Entertainment is sure to add to the excitement…and the best part is…unlike Vegas….you still walk away with the money that was in your wallet when you sat down!!

We at FantaSea send a big Thank You to Casino Entertainment Industries for adding to the success of so many of our events, and we look forward to many more!

Walking Proud – The TOMS Story

Posted June 14, 2011 by Stephanie Ginzburg

Years ago when my oldest daughter was in high school, she arrived home one day greatly excited about the fact that a guy in a small trailer behind her school was making shoes and better yet, donating a pair of shoes to a child in need for each pair you purchased. “What an amazing thing to do” I said. Just a few short years later, I can tell you that all over the world, in small villages and mega cities alike, I have seen the works of TOMS stretched across many soles. Indeed an amazing thing to do.

For those of you that don’t know, TOMS, a local Santa Monica based company, was started back in 2006. In a matter of four short years, the TOMS One for One movement had given more than one million shoes to children in need around the world. This month, they launched the new TOMS eyewear One for One, giving the gift of either medical treatment, prescription glasses or sight -saving surgery to many in need.

It’s your social status charity awareness each and every time you put your shoes or glasses on! It’s a fabulous way to the give, it’s a fabulous way to show your global humanity side and they are as cool and easy as any global citizen would tell you. It’s the every generation, every situation, every reason why thing to do. What an amazing thing to do!

This month, we were excited to be a part of the TOMS staff summit hosted at the FantaSea Yacht Club in Marina del Rey.  They worked passionately for 3 long days sharing the mission, the enlightenment and the story to inspire those with a drive and ambition in TOMS.

The humble staff, supported largely by the direction, vision and kindness of Blake Mycoskie as their lead was a pleasure to host. They are young, bright, creative, ambitious and are definitely on a mission to spread the One for One message.

Inspiration strikes each of us in different forms. These days, I wear my inspiration on my sole. Perhaps in the near future, the world will look like a rosy place seen through the lenses of my “every stripe tells a story” glasses.

We are proud to have been a part of the TOMS story and hope that you all will join the One for One mission.

A Bride’s Perspective

Kathleen Soto + Jonathan Gomez ~ April 15, 2011

Ceremony: Sacred Heart Chapel, Loyola Marymount University Reception Location: FantaSea Yacht Club, Marina del Rey Event Producers: John Williams-Jacob and Jasmine Lee Entertainment: IMP – Steve Chacon, DJ/Lighting Designer Specialty Linens: Elegant Designs Florist: Peony & Plum Photography: Kathryn Colby Wedding Cake: Torrance Bakery

Jonathan and I were engaged in December, 2010 and we knew we wanted to get married at our alma mater, the place where we became friends eight years ago, Loyola Marymount University (LMU). We secured April 15th, 2011 with LMU’s chapel and hoped that a decent venue would accommodate our wedding that was only four months away. After shopping around Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Downtown Los Angeles and feeling like we weren’t going to find a place that would deliver everything we wanted within our budget, we stumbled upon FantaSea Yachts and Yacht Club in “Here Comes the Guide.” We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was family-owned (for 30 years at that!) and immediately called to make an appointment to see the venue.

We booked an appointment with John who was extremely helpful and sweet. John was very eager to work with us to make it happen within our budget (which was extremely important to us). We fell in love with the breathtaking views of the marina, the size and uniqueness of the space, the large bar and we especially liked that the chivari chairs were standard! FantaSea Yacht Club was only a five minute drive from LMU; it was the warm and intimate, yet spacious venue we had been looking for. By the end of our first meeting, we were sold! And after we did the food tasting, we were sold for the second time! Everything we tried was delicious, the selection FantaSea offers is outstanding and we immediately knew we had found a place that would deliver a very memorable evening for us and for our guests.  Friends and family often asked me how the wedding planning was going during those few months and were always so surprised by how “at ease” I was. I would just smile and credit my venue; everyone at FantaSea was so helpful and accommodating. The vendors FantaSea recommended were also outstanding.

We fell in love with a florist they work with (Peony & Plum) who knew the space well and created gorgeous flower arrangements for our special evening. We also worked with Jasmine from FantaSea to finalize everything and very much appreciated her impeccable sense of style and attention to detail.

Our wedding reception was perfect; FantaSea delivered an amazing space with delicious food, an amazing wait staff and incredibly attentive wedding coordinators who made the wedding planning process so easy for us. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how much fun they had that evening and it is thanks to FantaSea! Everyone at FantaSea went above and beyond to deliver a reception that was more than we could have ever imagined! We are extremely grateful and look forward to the next celebration we can have at FantaSea!
