How to Book a Yacht Charter in Marina del Rey: 5 Simple Steps
- Step 1: Choose your yacht and guest count.
FantaSea Yachts operates three vessels in Marina del Rey. The Dandeana holds up to 100 guests, the FantaSea One holds up to 250, and the Admiral XL is ideal for intimate groups of up to 12. Selecting the right yacht based on your guest count is the first decision — it determines your pricing range and available dates.
- Step 2: Select your event date and check availability.
Peak dates — summer weekends, holiday party season, and popular wedding months (May through October) — book 3 to 6 months in advance. Summer Saturdays, especially for weddings, can book up to two years in advance. Use the date availability form on the FantaSea website or call (310) 827-2220 to confirm whether your preferred date is open. FantaSea’s event team responds within one business day.
- Step 3: Request a custom quote.
Submit the request form with your event type, guest count, preferred date, and any special requirements. FantaSea will prepare a detailed quote that includes yacht rental, catering package options, bar service, event staffing, and setup. There is no obligation to book after receiving a quote.
- Step 4: Tour the yachts in person.
FantaSea offers private showings at their Marina del Rey dock by appointment, Monday, 11:00AM – 2:00PM and Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00AM – 4:00PM unless we are out hosting an event. Seeing the yacht in person helps you visualize the space and flow of your event, and allows us to walk through your details and tailor your event.
- Step 5: Confirm, sign, and start planning.
Once the proposal is approved, a deposit and signed contract secures the date and a dedicated event coordinator is assigned. FantaSea handles catering coordination, vendor communication, timeline planning, and day-of execution. Most clients describe the process as stress-free from deposit to event day.
