Yacht Club History

FantaSea Yacht Club, once known to the local community as the "Red Onion," has become Marina del Rey’s Best Kept Secret. In April of 1996 the FantaSea Yacht Club opened its doors as a private banquet facility in Marina del Rey after years of remodeling, custom painting and complete aesthetic enhancements making her a dream for brides and party planners alike.

The FantaSea Yacht Club can accommodate up to 250 guests, offering them stunning views of the Marina del Rey harbor. The venue is located in close proximity to LAX, Santa Monica, Century City, Hollywood, and Downtown; offering a unique, yet affordable, alternative to a hotel ballroom.   Additionally the “Yacht Club” can be offered as a joint party venue with one of FantaSea’s yachts for a truly spectacular combination “Land and Sea” event.
