Casino Entertainment Industries – FantaSea Yachts Vendor Spotlight of the Week

Who needs to go to Vegas when you can bring Vegas to you?

FantaSea Yacht’s vendor spotlight of the week is Casino Entertainment Industries, the premiere casino company we work with. CEI provides knowledgeable and professional gaming dealers, high quality tables and…we can’t forget… the casino chips and play money!

In 1996 Casino Entertainment Industries started their business out of their home and has since grown into one of Southern California’s largest casino companies. CEI now has more than 2,000 square feet of warehouse space, over 150 casino tables and 200 experienced game dealers. From black jack to poker to roulette to craps – there’s not a game they don’t have.

For more than 10 years Casino Entertainment has worked with FantaSea Yachts and has contributed to the success of hundreds of celebrations. Just this past December CEI was hired for several of our corporate holiday parties, in all of our venues Dandeana, RegentSea, FantaSea One and our land-based waterfront Yacht Club.

Whether you’re planning a corporate event, birthday party, bar/bat mitzvah, fundraiser, college sorority/fraternity event, Casino Entertainment is sure to add to the excitement…and the best part is…unlike Vegas….you still walk away with the money that was in your wallet when you sat down!!

We at FantaSea send a big Thank You to Casino Entertainment Industries for adding to the success of so many of our events, and we look forward to many more!

Jersey Shore in Marina del Rey

Posted September 28, 2010 by Jasmine Lee

On the record setting hottest day in Los Angeles, where better to be than sunny Marina del Rey, sipping champagne and enjoying hors d’oeuvres, while watching the sunset with MTV’s Jersey Shore’s Snooki?  Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was onboard our luxury yacht  DANDEANA, dressed Hampton-chic in a sleek black dress and fabulous hat, as the spokesperson for the  Frownies “Beautiful Eyes” Launch.  Standing all of 4’9”(with heels!), she was super sweet, taking pictures with everyone on board and even sharing her “sombrero” with me.

Also onboard for the festivities were “The Spin Crowd” Jonathan Cheban, “Danity Kane’s” Aubrey O’Day, “Bachelor Pads” Kiptyn and Tenley (how cute are they!), “American Idol’s” Paige Miles and Chikezie Eze, and Jon Lee Brody starring in the upcoming “Hurricane Kid”

Why FantaSea?

Posted September 28, 2010 by Ruby

Ask Ruby Dichirico….Ruby_Full-1

I’m a die hard party planner. I didn’t necessarily go to school for it or realize at a young age that it was my calling (which I now know it is).  It started with grand birthday parties, then prom committee, eventually PR events and constant networking in the event industry.  I tried working the 9-5’er but it just was not for me.  I like an engaging workday and I cannot do the same thing day in and day out.  When I heard about the opportunity to work with FantaSea Yachts, I was ecstatic.  I immediately thought of glamorous parties and gorgeous sunsets in the background.  It was the kind of job I had been dreaming of.

Dream job or not, starting a new job is always scary.  For me, I was coming from some place comfortable and some place that I liked.  But it wasn’t quite enough.  From the minute I walked in the door at FantaSea, with the streaming water fountain and smell of candles burning, I knew I had ended up in the right place.  I was a little intimidated by the volume of parties that come onboard.  But once I got to know the staff, many who have been working with the company for 15 or 20 years, I realized there was a rhythm to the events and it was all very manageable.

What I found is that I by being true to myself and honest about what I enjoy doing, I was able to weave my way through the corporate world and finally find a home base where I could excel.  I am so thrilled to be here at FantaSea and am really looking forward to being a part of more and more events.  It was scary to make the move but I am so glad I did.
