Cruising through Wedding Season
Posted June 20, 2011 by Jasmine Lee
Just a few photos of the amazing weddings this weekend at FantaSea that I was able to snap! We also had the pleasure of celebrating So. Pasadena High School’s Annual Grad Night aboard the FantaSea One, Champion’s USA aboard the Dandeana and Richard’s 90th Birthday Soiree aboard the RegentSea. More pictures soon to come.
Jessica & Ty’s Wedding – RegentSea, Marina del Rey ~ Friday, June 17, 2011

We loved Jessica and Ty’s wedding colors of white and black damask with touches of deep purple and lime green. They even had specialty cocktails to match their colors that were popular with all of their guests. ”The Groom” was a lime green cocktail of malibu, midori, triple sec, lemon and pineapple juices. ”The Bride” was a deep purple cocktail of champagne, diet cranberry and pomegranate juices.
It was a perfect wedding from start to finish.
Congratulations Jessica and Ty!
Angela and Henry’s Wedding Reception – FantaSea Yacht Club, Marina del Rey ~ Saturday, June 18, 2011

My favorite moment: The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority formed a circle around Angela and sang her the Sweetheart Song. It was very sweet and touching moment that was then followed by the Greek Stroll as the ladies performed a choreographed dance to “Hypnotize” by Notorious B.I.G. My favorite delectable detail: Angela’s candy station in red and tiffany blue. She designed every last detail herself. It was a fave with all of her guests!
Arpineh and Salman’s Wedding – RegentSea, Marina del Rey ~ Sunday, June 19, 2011

The perfect Armenian wedding! We started with the wedding ceremony as we cruised the main channel of Marina del Rey. After the ceremony, as the guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, we transformed the Party Deck into the reception room for dining and dancing as the couple took a moment for their sunset pictures. The guests were ready to party as they began dancing in the bar area. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, dinner, more dancing and even a belly dancer performance during dinner with a candelabra balanced on her head with real candles!
Congratulations Arpi and Salman!

Kathleen Soto + Jonathan Gomez ~ April 15, 2011
Ceremony: Sacred Heart Chapel, Loyola Marymount University Reception Location: FantaSea Yacht Club, Marina del Rey Event Producers: John Williams-Jacob and Jasmine Lee Entertainment: IMP – Steve Chacon, DJ/Lighting Designer Specialty Linens: Elegant Designs Florist: Peony & Plum Photography: Kathryn Colby Wedding Cake: Torrance Bakery
Jonathan and I were engaged in December, 2010 and we knew we wanted to get married at our alma mater, the place where we became friends eight years ago, Loyola Marymount University (LMU). We secured April 15th, 2011 with LMU’s chapel and hoped that a decent venue would accommodate our wedding that was only four months away. After shopping around Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Downtown Los Angeles and feeling like we weren’t going to find a place that would deliver everything we wanted within our budget, we stumbled upon FantaSea Yachts and Yacht Club in “Here Comes the Guide.” We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was family-owned (for 30 years at that!) and immediately called to make an appointment to see the venue.
We booked an appointment with John who was extremely helpful and sweet. John was very eager to work with us to make it happen within our budget (which was extremely important to us). We fell in love with the breathtaking views of the marina, the size and uniqueness of the space, the large bar and we especially liked that the chivari chairs were standard! FantaSea Yacht Club was only a five minute drive from LMU; it was the warm and intimate, yet spacious venue we had been looking for. By the end of our first meeting, we were sold! And after we did the food tasting, we were sold for the second time! Everything we tried was delicious, the selection FantaSea offers is outstanding and we immediately knew we had found a place that would deliver a very memorable evening for us and for our guests. Friends and family often asked me how the wedding planning was going during those few months and were always so surprised by how “at ease” I was. I would just smile and credit my venue; everyone at FantaSea was so helpful and accommodating. The vendors FantaSea recommended were also outstanding.
We fell in love with a florist they work with (Peony & Plum) who knew the space well and created gorgeous flower arrangements for our special evening. We also worked with Jasmine from FantaSea to finalize everything and very much appreciated her impeccable sense of style and attention to detail.
Our wedding reception was perfect; FantaSea delivered an amazing space with delicious food, an amazing wait staff and incredibly attentive wedding coordinators who made the wedding planning process so easy for us. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how much fun they had that evening and it is thanks to FantaSea! Everyone at FantaSea went above and beyond to deliver a reception that was more than we could have ever imagined! We are extremely grateful and look forward to the next celebration we can have at FantaSea!
Can a Mac Make You More Attractive? Absolutely!
Posted March 11, 2009 by Jasmine Lee
FantaSea has been an all Macintosh office since day one and I completely believe that when clients come to our office, the Mac lovers are immediately impressed. It’s like our computers give us instant “coolness.” One such couple is Ellie and Nate. I love them and cannot wait for their wedding this September. Ellie is a wedding cake baker and Nate has his own CompuTech store, they are both Mac enthusiasts and so sweet. I think they may have decided to book their wedding with us before they even saw the yachts!
Ellie and Nate have created a very cool website to chronicle their wedding and their life. I highly recommend reading about their engagement. It’s truly magical.
They are getting married on the RegentSea in the fall and I am already hard at work to make it as magical and as perfect as their love for each other. I can’t wait!
The wedding industry is very competitive – we realize you are going to spend a great deal of money and time planning and you want to know it’s going to be perfect. If having a Mac on my desk gives me a little leg up on the competition… I am fine with that. You might say comparing us to other yacht charters is like comparing Apples to Oranges. Smile.
