Tying the Nautical Knot

We’re in the party boat business, what venue lends itself better than a nautical themed event!
Thinking of our past events, we have seen so many clever and beautiful ideas the possibilities are seemingly endless!
For an elegant touch of sand and sea, perhaps subtle accents like having sailboat tea lights on your tables or using starfish as your escort cards. For a more bold statement, how about a sandcastle cake and beta fish as your centerpiece to complete your beach themed event?!
Here are a few photos of some of our favorite nautical themed and sand and sea themed events. If you are looking for more inspiration of beach themed wedding favors and decor, how about stopping by our office to check out our design room? We have albums, invitations and favors galore!!
A Fairytale Wedding in Marina del Rey
Posted March 11, 2010 by Leah Puccio
Once upon a time, in a Marina not so far away…
Oohs and Ahh’s abounded as guests peered from every possible window, deck and open space on luxury yacht, Dandeana, as a horse drawn carriage made its way down to the dock.
With Cinderella as her inspiration, beautiful bride Akane stepped out of the carriage donning a gorgeous ballroom style dress complete with rhinestone tiara. With a quick hug and thank you to the pure white horse that drew the carriage, Akane and lucky groom Fumi walked hand and hand down to the Dandeana.
All guests stood to watch as Akane’s father, Kenichi, escorted her down the aisle to the theme song from Disney’s Aladdin, “A Whole New World”. Tables were dressed in gold satin and chairs were tied with an organza gold bow. With custom built centerpieces, tiny bird cage style votives hanging from the ceiling, and a Cinderella carriage wedding cake, the look was certainly enchanting.
The newlyweds danced a well practiced waltz together to Cinderella’s “So this is Love” and later sang somewhat of a ‘first song’ to “Endless Love” by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.
As the evening of their ‘Once Upon a Time Wedding’ came to a close, the couple made a very grand escape by the same horse drawn carriage that started their fairytale evening. This time, the carriage was aglow with white lights and an iced bottle of champagne with two glasses were waiting inside.
The End.
47th Annual Parade of Lights
Posted December 14, 2009 by Leah Puccio
What a night! It was a clear view all the way to the break-wall from the sky deck of our largest yacht, FantaSea One. We had a perfect view of the fireworks that went off right at 5:55pm to kick off the parade.
This years theme was ‘Christmas in Paradise’, and the participants did not disappoint. Boats of all sizes were decked in their best holiday décor, from 15 foot tall pink cocktails and real palm trees to surfing Santa’s and Mrs. Claus in a hula skirt…even the Coast Guard and Harbor Patrol got in the spirit!
What a great night out on the water, can’t wait until next year!
